The PickleRanking System
PickleRankPH measures real skill — not hype. Every player earns a PR Rating on a familiar 2.000–8.000 scale, updated after verified matches across the Philippines.
Unlike simple win–loss ladders, PickleRanking compares how you played against what the algorithm expected from the ratings on court. Close wins, tough losses, and blowouts all matter — so your rank reflects performance, not luck.
- PR Rating Separate Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles ratings — each tracked independently.
- Performance vs. expectation Beat a weaker team 11–10? You can still drop. Lose 11–9 to a stronger team? You can still rise.
- Match trust weighting Sanctioned tournaments and verified club matches move your rating more than casual play.
- Reliability & recency Recent results count more; more rated matches make your PR Rating steadier and more trusted.
