Frequently asked questions
Accounts, ratings, tournaments, referrals, and using PickleRankPH.
Is PickleRankPH free for players?
Yes. Creating a player profile and browsing rankings, tournaments, and clubs is free. Some tournaments charge entry fees set by the organizer — you will see the amount before you register.
How do I create an account?
Go to Register, choose Register as player, and submit your name, email, and password. You can add your photo, region, and skill details afterward from your profile.
What is the PR Rating?
The PickleRank (PR) Rating is your competitive skill score on a 2.000–8.000 scale, similar to familiar rating systems. You get separate ratings for Singles, Doubles, and Mixed. Ratings update after verified tournament and rated matches — not from casual open play unless recorded officially.
How do I register for a tournament?
Open Tournaments, pick an event, and scroll to Register. Choose your division, enter your player account (or partner details if required), and submit. Paid events may redirect you to complete payment online or show instructions for manual payment.
Some club-hosted events use closed registration — you request entry and the club approves you before you are on the roster.
I registered but my status says pending. What now?
The host club or organizer may need to approve your entry, confirm payment, or check your skill category. Contact the tournament or club listed on the event page. Once approved, you will appear in the division roster.
Where can I see my rank and match history?
How do I sign in on my phone?
Use the Player app link from the site header, or sign in on the website with the same email and password you used at registration. Your account works across web and mobile.
Can I follow live matches?
Yes. The Live page shows matches in progress across the platform. During a tournament, your event page also displays brackets, schedules, and results as organizers update scores.
How do court bookings work?
Clubs that offer online booking list availability on their club page. After signing in, open Profile → Bookings to request a slot, edit reservations, or cancel within the club's rules.
How do I join a club?
Browse Clubs and view venues near you. Membership is managed by each club — contact them directly or register for their events to get on their roster when they add you in admin.
Why did my rating change after one loss?
PR Ratings use performance versus expectation, not a simple win/loss counter. Beating a stronger opponent helps more than beating a weaker one; close losses to higher-rated players may cost less than expected.
What is the player feed?
Signed-in players can post updates, react, and comment in the community Feed. Keep posts respectful; you can report content that breaks community guidelines.

How is my data used?
Your profile, match results, and tournament entries are shown on public leaderboards and event pages as part of the competitive record. Contact us if you need corrections to your name or results tied to the wrong account.
I run a club. Is there a guide for organizers?
Yes. Club owners should read the Club Owner Guide for dashboard setup, tournaments, bookings, and billing.
